King Price 3rd Party claim Terrible Service

I was involved in an accident on the 10th of October. I was bumped by the third party vehicle from behind and my vehicle incurred some damages. I did a 3rd party claim through King price and it has been a hell of a journey. Firstly i had to look for 3 quotations and i submitted with the quotations with the minimum quotation amount to R28k. They tell me to wait for 3 weeks for the process to be completed. After 3 weeks i enquired and they tell me they cant get hold of their client to authorize the claim. This is their response through a guy called Steven Coetzee " That is correct our assessor has done his portion of validations however our policy holder needs to give us permission to settle your claim, they have not given us authorisation to proceed and they are not answering any of our messages to them." I see this is their way of doing things as i can see from other reviews that they always use the excuse of not being able to get hold of their client.

Then a couple of hours after he comes back with an information that their King Price assessor who only accessed the car from the accident pictures that i was i was severely over quoted and they will only pay R16k. I refused to accept this then they said i can take it to any panel beaters and show them the report from King Price and they should be able to repair the car for the quoted amount. I agreed and now i'm told i have to wait for another 20 working days for the payment to be authorized and i'm even told that "Should there be any damage the repairer feels is accident related, it can be referred back to us with the necessary supporting proof in order for our assessor to review their motivation and if it is found to be justified, we will amend our report" . So there's a high chance that i can still be paying money from my pocket onto of their R16. Its the 20th of November. Another flipping weeks of waiting. 20 working days will be the 21st of December and by then panel-beaters are closing in December. That means my car will only be fixed in January. I call the Steven guy and he is not even bothered.
