KING PRICE

On Saturday 9 Dec 2023 I encountered a mechanical breakdown of my vehicle in the event. I spoke to a call centre agent on Sunday from King Price who offered me a courtesy vehicle, where I explained this was not an accident, but a breakdown. My car was towed and on Monday after speaking to a call centre agent, I was told that the towing costs and storage of my car would be for my cost and I need to arrange payment and release of the vehicle before I could be assisted.

Shortly therafter I received an email to notify me of an excess payment...which I was surprised at, as this was not an accident.

Again I phoned King Price and spoke to a different call centre agent who said the towing company is contracted in with King Price, thus this would not be for my account; and the storage is also contracted with King Price.

Its just a matter of having the vehicle assessed to determine what the mechanical fault is.

I then asked for a Manager to ring me as each call centre agent has a different story. I have to use my cellphone to phone from, only to hold on and have calls dropped.

It is now 4 days later and I have to use Bolt daily to get to and fro from work. I do not have a financial reserve to deal with this.

Why do I have insurance?? King Price will as usual take their monthly premium on time for the exact amount.

How does this seem reasonable or fair to their loyal client?? I'm sitting without a car, a single parent with a semi-disability and need to be mobile for my work and family. REF: KP***

I'm now at the mercy of King Price!
