Kin Price Insurance Ridiculous Terms for early claims
I recently purchased a new car and took out insurance with King Price. On Saturday 02 October 2021, there was a severe hail storm in the area where I reside that damaged my vehicle. I logged a claim over the weekend and spoke to King Price on Monday morning to get the claim processed. Just to be informed that I have to pay an extra excess for the early claim...which I can understand if I was on the road and got into an accident or something like that. However, this was an act of God completely outside of my control and even if I tried to get my car to safety I probably would have been severely injured or even death due to the golf ******ized hail. It's completely unfair and insensitive to penalize a client for an event like this. R3500 extra...really that's ridiculous!

The applicable excess is clearly noted in the policy schedule which is sent to you at the start of the cover.
