IThina from claims department was amazing, Travis assessor was amazing, the process is slow, it took longer than i anticipated. For people who are insured by king price and are based in EC are in trouble appointed service providers for towing in EC keep our cars at the yards without the knowledge of kind price. It’s scary to think what could happened to your cars. A towing company name Prince Towing towed my car only to tow it to his house. My claim was submit on the 31st Jan 2025, it was only finalised on the 22 January 2026. There few things are really not happy about. My car was written off due to engine issues, no specific details were provided what the issue was. I had call KingPrice and report that my car is at Price Towing and it was there for two days. While KingPrice called to inform me my car arrived in East London. Scary staff.

23 Jan 2026, 14:23Thank you for clarifying. I acknowledge that the towing issue was addressed. However, I remain concerned that King Price was not informed by the service provider, nor seemingly aware, that my vehicle was not towed to the intended destination in East London for two days. I had to bring this matter to King Price’s attention, and it was only at that point that the insurer became aware that my vehicle had been placed at a different location.
Only after I reported this matter did the service provider indicate that they had experienced issues with their trucks. This was concerning, as at the time I departed Ngcobo, the service provider was able to render services to other clients.
My vehicle has since sustained serious damage, and while I am not suggesting that the towing company is responsible. I have been insured with King Price for seven years, during which time I have paid all my premiums and have not submitted any claims. As such, I did not expect to encounter such a gap in the claims and service provider process. I will await your call and trust that it will also clarify why the claim took 22 days to be finalised. Thank you for your assistance, and I have accepted your apology, but it does not put my current frustration at ease, and I am only sharing my first-time frustration about the company. Again, I commend their staff members for their level of professionalism.
