*********** Investigation by King Price for Car Hijack

I'm insured with King Price for my VW Kombi T6 2018 model, my car was hijacked on 6th September 2024 driven by my friend who has a valid driver's license and has never claimed for car theft. We completely cooperated with the investigation. Today, I asked for an update on my claim and I was informed by the investigator that he is going to recommend that the claim be rejected because we didn't report to law enforcement immediately. I reported to Bidtrack immediately and i called a friend that works for is a traffic officer who reported on the relevant platforms. In the morning, i tried reporting the incident at the nearest police station first thing in the morning and I was told to go report at the police station that the hijacking occurred. I went to work to report the matter, evidence of me reporting at work is also available and then went to report it in Delmas. We were given a run around, we went to 4 police stations and was only assisted at the last police station in Sundra. All the evidence is available for the failed attempts to report the matter yet the investigator doesn't want to gather that evidence. I am waiting for the final decision by the insurance but I'm disappointed in how selective the investigator is in his invegation and how his incompetence will have a negative impact on the outcome of my claim.
