Invasive questioning

My wife had an accident where another car drove into the back of her. The driver offered to pay for the damages in admission of guilt. My wife reported the accident to King Price (as ethically required), and she has since been treated like a ******** from King Price. It has been a month since the accident and only today did an assessor come out to look at the car. My wife called me in an emotional state after the assessor literally INTERROGATED her. Not only did it take this long, the assessor asked some pretty invasive questions and requested bank statements from my wife for the days preceding and after the accident!!! What the hell is that? The assessor also asked for E-toll records. The assessor even went as far to ask what car I drive on the weekends!!??? Seriously what has this got to do with anything??? My wife was the innocent party in the accident and yet she is being victimized. I am actually considering taking legal action due to the way my wife is being treated. I would like management from King Price to contact me to explain why this interrogation happened and why she has to go through this when the person at fault said to claim from her insurance. This is pathetic.
