Insurance not going down as promised

When I took up this vehicle cover, I was told that I need to call every month to have my premiums reduced as my car value depreciates. I called last month and I was told that my premiums cannot be reduced.<br> <br> So, my question is, why make promises you cannot keep?<br> <br> Do I have to move to another insurance provider for you to do what you promised to do?
