Insurance Claim

I filed a claim with King Price when my handbag was ****** as my vehicle keys were inside the handbag. I liaised with Anri Quick who responded after I had sent through a quote that they would reprogramme my car keys but refused to change the locks. I explained that the people who had my keys could access my vehicle and ***** valuables; furthermore if I stop somewhere at night it would be unsafe for me if someone could access my vehicle.

She stated that they stand firm in their decision to not change my locks.

Hi Kholo

It’s really heartbreaking for us to hear that you are dissapointed in us.

Due to the fact that there is no damage to the locks on the vehicle the policy can unfortunately not accomodate a claim in this instance. As your insurer we have assisted in replacing the key as well as recoding the keys and ignition which insures that the vehicle cannot be ******. Regretably should you want the lock set on the vehicle replaced this would be for your own account.

Should you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact.

Royal regards

The kings court

That is not the response I got. The basis for King Price not replacing my locks was that you claim that whoever has my keys does not know my residential address. I responded saying that my entire handbag was ****** which included my phone. My phone has my personal information in it. Furthermore King Price and myself have no idea of who actually took my handbag. The SAPS temselves recommended that the locks get changed as this is unsafe.

I feel that you really should have not responded as it's the same ******* that I got on email and the phone; you have wasted my time.
