I had a fully insured, professionally installed 36V solar system with a high-value battery bank. After lightning damage, King Price sent an assessor who was shockingly unprofessional — asking for biltong in exchange for a good report, sending unsolicited Bible verses, making ***ist comments about me not understanding solar because I’m a woman, and making a derogatory remark about my ***uality. The proposed replacement system is completely incompatible, unsafe, and far inferior to what I was paying to insure. The manager handling the claim told me she’s "doing me a favour" by paying anything and refuses to acknowledge the technical facts or offer a proper solution. I’m giving King Price one final chance to resolve this before I escalate to the Ombudsman.
