I am not satisfied at all with the service I got from Kingprice
I joined Kingprice on the 1st August 2020 and insured polo vivo and tsi. The polo was involved in accident on the 21st May 2021 for the matter my younger brother was the one driving the car that night. The assessor name Mfundo was sent by Kingprice. The assessor started his job, he came to where I stay started asking my neighbours about the cars that stays in my yard, who drives which car and when. He even went to my home village again asking our neighbours about our cars. Later on i get a feedback from the insurance and they have rejected the claim due to misrepresentation of regular drive for that matter the contract indicated that any one can drive my car
These are to be paid per incident, over and above your basic excess, if applicable: If the incident driver is not the regular driver and younger than 25 years old, or has had a driver?s licence for less than 2 years R 4,500.00 If the incident occurred outside of South Africa and the car is not drivable R 7,500.00 With regards to a car claim when the incident occurs in the first 3 months of cover R 3,500.00.
The feedback was sent to me on the 28 June 2021, and I disputed the matter on the 2nd July 2021, now they are forcing me to go and fetch the car at the panel beater to avoid storage charges.
