Horrible Client Service!!!!
My wife was driving my car got hit by another driver, inconviniently so the other driver however owned up to his faults. Proper procedure was followed,a case was opened and on the police statement the other driver clearly stated he was in the wrong. Kingprice was advised within time frame of this accident, they booked a car for assessment with the panelbeaters. Panelbeaters sent the invoice to Kingprice who then forwarded to me which the costs are R13127.46 So my insurance contacted the guy that hit my car made an arrangement that the guy that inconviniently hit my car will pay them R500 every month until it makes the total costs\how convinient"however their client has to pay R7500 for access which i obviously dont have"
We really empathize with your situation but let us explain. You elected to have an excess of R7500 on your vehicle, one should always insure that you can afford the excess you select at point of sale. To recover against a 3rd party can be extremely difficult, the 3rd party may be the guilty party but if he or she does not have the funds available we would not be able to do a successful recovery even if we go the legal route. Due to this our legal department has taken the best option available and your excess will be refunded as soon as the R7500 has been successfully recovered.
