This kind of issue must be sorted of urgently, before matters take a more legal path. Please can i get someone in a higher position to assist me with our claim as this will be going social and to the media. We have a policy with KP now for 3 years this has been our first claim. The policy was taken out on my husbands name to our knowledge. we was informed anyone can drive the car provided they have a valid drivers licence. So however on the 18th on December 2017 around 12pm mid day i was on my way to the shopping centre and i tried to avoid an object on a construction site and the car infront of me came to halt which ended up me knocking her from the back. I have done a AR Report and contacted KP to put throught the claim on the 19th December 2017. I was contacted by Ryno only on the 28th of December 2017 to be advised he will assist with the claim and would like to meet on the 02 January 2018 we met and did the assessment he said it takes around 10 working days to be finalised. I was contacted on the 12th January 2018 to be informed that my claim was rejected and reason for that is that we did not notify KP that i would be driving the car to our knowledge we was not aware that we had to call and notify i even gave the assessor an affidavit stating we was not aware. We also did get a call from an agent to inform us they would be giving us our December premium back that's not what we want we want our car fixed and given back to us. We had received another call stating KP will give us back 1 year premiums that's not what we want either if they can agree to give back 1 year of our monies, why can't they repair our car? this is ridiculous and unprofessional. I have messaged Ryno to inform him we need the sales call and he needs to send it ASAP. till today i did not recieve any feedback as he doesnt even take my calls. This is really unacceptable and gives the company KP a bad name. I would appreciate it if our claim can be reviewed properly as i have an advocate assisting the matter and I need the car back urgently. Today the 18th feb. I contacted king price once again. And spoke to geraldene from the retentions department. She too was of no help to me or the situation , all she could say was the broker is no longer employed by the company, and that she is unaware of who is now handling my account. Something as to be done. Or legal steps will be taken.
