Durban Suffered tragic storms. People had no power for 72hrs. I had to charge the whole family's phones into my car for those days. Biggest mistake was keeping the vehicle on without the engine running. The battery died.

I had to try boot the battery with another vehicle. It did not work. We pushed the car to the hill to try and kick start it, also that did not work. Now, the vehicle is outside in the open, cannot be locked, it's 7pm and it's raining. I had to make a choice of leaving it there or sleeping in it. We all know how unsafe SA is. I was out of options, than suddenly, I contacted my insurance to tell them my car will spend the night in the open. I spoke to Lindokuhle who told me that I have Roadside assist as a value add. She logged a case for me and 45 mins later, Zondo from AA showed up and assisted me efficiently.
