False information and ****ming

A week or 2 ago I got a call from King price insurance trying to offer me car insurance, while on a call I told the guy that I canceled with them reason been that I had put in a claim because I had hit a pothole in the vaal, but was told that I need to drive back and take pictures of the pothole, told them I was in no position to drive back as I don't stay that side, then canceled. To my surprise the guy I was talking to a week or 2 ago told me that he sees that there was a claim of over R30 000 that was paid out and when I asked him to which account was the money out to as i did not receive any money from King price, he said he could not see where the money was paid out to. So is this a **** that people are putting claims that never pay out to customers but to some account? I need urgent clarity on this as I received nothing from King price., but clearly the money was paid out. I could have fixed my car but was given the run around.
