False advertising

King Price advertised that your premiums goes lower each month, yes it does. But a year later, they make the premium the same as the year when it started, so you save R40, and then you pay R41 the next year, so what do you save! Really! Do they really think a person will not pick up that you did not save any money??? I complained, and what happened, they just billed the higher amount. This is a good example of false advertising. THE WORST IS THAT THEY DON'T GIVE YOU A MONTHS NOTICE FOR THE INCREASE, THEY LET YOU KNOW 2 WEEKS INTO THE NEW MONTH, SO YOU CAN'T END THE INSURANCE, AS YOU HAVE TO GIVE A MONTH'S NOTICE.

Hello Letesia68,

Here's the thing, like all insurers, we too need to implement annual policy rerates to keep up the rising costs or parts and repairs... Which even we can't ignore!

These costs aren't linked to the value of your car, which as you know, depreciates monthly. And unlike other insurers, King Price takes this into account and DECREASES your comprehensive car insurance premium every month.

We do in fact advise the policy holder with 30 days notice of rerate.

Should you require any further assistance please do not hesitate to contact.

Royal regards
