I have been with Kingprice for more than 10 years have insured 2 vehicles and household appliances. In the past 10 years I have never had any accident claims, had only thunderstorm claims for both vehicles. I lost vehicle keys for the jeep patriot and tried to put in a claim was told to pay R1500 excess I felt it was too much and decided to get the key’s myself as they costs R1800 after a few days I remembered that non of my vehicle have any excess called and they agreed that the patriot have no excess and the other vehicle has R1500 excess they have made a mistake. I disputed that and they said they will listen to the recordings and revert to me I have been waiting for more 3 months for an answer. I had a power surge claim which 3 of the items were repudiated even without testing I also objected to that. Was told someone will attend to it, still nothing happened. In February I was involved in a car accident, was rear ended, put in a claim, after 6 weeks of waiting, I call today to enquire about my claim, I’m told my claim is repudiated because they can’t find my schedule from the previous insurer. What kind of nonsense is this????? I’ve been with this insurer for more than 10 years I don’t even remember who was my insurance before.
