Disclaimer; King Price insures SIM cards and not phones even on Bling cover a worldwide cover and even with proof of phone (IMEI) as per schedule
I was insured with Loom, King Price price took over the policy ; Bling cover is a “worldwide cover” as per policy schedule. I travelled to eSwatini, lost my phone on my way home in SA , provided King Price with phone usage with IMEI from both ESwatini mobile and Vodacom along other requested documents . Claim got declined because “I was not using the insured sim” which brings me to the question that ;” is it the phone or the SIM card I am insured for, also what is the definition of worldwide cover if I go to a country that does not have the Vodacom network, present proof of phone usage ...” ????? For a R519,00 monthly premium, this is nothing but ***** !

04 Aug 2021, 15:06 Someone please make it make sense : How am I " get a new SIM card or cellphone number, " when I am on a temporal trip and only get the new sim card in the destination country , provide King Price with Phone Usage with the same IMEI number as stated on terms of an approved claim:
You’re only covered if:
• The IMEI number of the phone that you’re claiming for matches that IMEI number that’s noted on your policy schedule.
• The phone with the IMEI number that’s noted on your policy schedule has been used to make or receive a call, or to send or receive an SMS, using the phone number (SIM card) that’s noted on your policy schedule.
With the same above " Definition" Why would you omit any terms of my cover , also my sim card on the policy does not change as I will be using the same number on return with theSAME IMEI number ...??

Thank you for your email send.
I tried calling you to discuss the rejection with you but could not get hold of you.
As per your policy documents (KPPD Document) it does show that that you enjoy cover “worldwide” but as per the terms and conditions on pg. 99 it states the following:
Please note: It’s super important that you let us know if you get a new SIM card or cellphone number, before any claim is registered, otherwise you won’t be covered
Because you did not advisee us that you will be using a eSwatini sim card in your phone before you claimed you did not enjoy cover with King Price

04 Aug 2021, 15:08I DID NOT get a new sim card, I am still using the very same sim card from inception .
How to claim
You must register your bling claim via our app or website. (You can click here to
download our app, or here to visit our website.)
If your cellphone is ****** or lost, you must:
• Blacklist the phone with your service provider and get a reference number.
• Report the incident to the police, and get a case number. The police will need the
blacklist reference number.
• Include the blacklist reference and police case numbers when you claim.
• Arrange your new SIM card. (We only take care of the phone.)
If your phone is damaged, our supplier will be in touch to collect it and deliver it back
to you after it’s been repaired. Our supplier will also deliver your new phone if we’ve
replaced it for you.
If we replace your phone after a claim via our app or website, we’ll automatically
delete your old phone and add your replacement phone, so your bling cover continues
uninterrupted... We’re nice like that.
Please note: It’s super important that you let us know if you get a new SIM card or
cellphone number, before any claim is registered, otherwise you won’t be covered.

04 Aug 2021, 15:14Disclaimer : I submitted all requested documents to King Price as per page 99 ;
** NOWHERE under "Definition " of - Worldwide Cover does the policy stipulate update of a "Foreign" sim card as I was NOT CHANGING SIM CARDS as per policy schedule .
Someone please make it make sense , because banks will state that you make PRIO ARRANGEMENTS with them before your trip.
"Worldwide Cover " : Same phone as Sonia says they cover a phone and not a sim : with IMEI and phone usage data for both networks provided... what more proof of which part of the contract did I miss.?
