Disappointed Customer
I am very Upset for what I have just found out!!!! My car was damaged by my neighbor's dogs, only reason I decided to process my claim with my insurance was that my car was new out the box only 16000km on the clock so I did not want to have to battled getting right people to fix the damages. King Price did a third party claim on the damages, Money Money Money.... I had to pay R6500.00 for the excess on my car, King Price advised me that they have made a payment arrangement with the Third party for R300.00 a mouth...... and only once the full payment of my excess and the additional cost will I be refunded... Meaning I will have to wait Three, Fours YEARS before I get my refund!!!!!!!! WHAT THE F!
Considering King Price is a well known company, should they not refund me and keep the payment plan with the Third party... Or should they maybe consider giving me the client who is suffering now the price of the claim... What is then the point of me paying for insurance for what if????
Clearly if I was third part that being answerable for the damages I would be smiling and so happy right about now....
Please note an excess recovery is a legal process of which success is not always guaranteed. As with all insurers if the 3rd party is unable to afford a once off payment then a payment arrangement is made. Once the full amount of the claim is received then the excess is refunded to the policy holder.
