Disappointed at the lack of urgency to fix my car (even assess the damage)
I am currently on the receiving end of the worst service I have ever received on a claim. My car was damaged on the 09/02/2020. I logged a claim in the morning (08:30 a.m) of 10/02/2020 and emailed all the documents required by Thabiso the guy who was assisting me, even photos that he requested and accident report were emailed on the same day (10/02/2020) because of the urgency of the issue.
The initial assessment on my vehicle was scheduled for 11/02/2020. It didn't happen. When I phoned I was informed King Price didn't even know where my car is (and I have to trust they can even fix the car given that comment). I gave them a number to call even though they are the one's who towed the vehicle. Updates on my claim claim only seem to happen when I call and query. I call at least 2 times a day.
Right now (13/02/2020 time 14:11 p.m.) I just received an sms saying my car is scheduled for Wednesday the 13/02/2020 just for an assessment. What a joke. A whole 8 days after I logged a claim just to get the car assessed. And only then will there be movement on my claim.
I am paying a ridiculous premium per month and this is the service I get. Even my access is at a crazy R15 500 but the service does not reflect that.
I don't even have a car to go to work I uber daily which costs me R300 a day (which I can prove by invoices) but King Price is working at a snails pace just to assess my car -- never mind even fix it. I suspect I have 3 months of waiting given this poor service.
Saying I am disappointed is an understatement..
