Devastated and grieving client

I am not a happy person at all I had an accident in January 2023 and I had been the one following up on the insurance and to me everytime I called I got different people whereas there was someone assigned by the insurance to deal with my claim,I have provided the insurance with all the information they needed within a day of the accident and at some point they offered me a replacement car which they couldn't disclose when I wanted more details about it,I then received a call from the dealer but I explained to him that I need a car but I can't just make a deal I'm not well informed about and find myself paying for 2 cars,I waited for a week for the insurance to reply to the email enquiring about the replacement car VS settlement when I realised that it was the 1st February and I had to return the courtesy car on the 16th and the bank would deduct from my account I contacted the insurance and I requested that the insurance settle the bank instead,the consultant promised to do that on the 1st and get back to me either the same Wednesday or next day it didn't happen, On Friday I called and find out that the insurance hadn't finalized the validation of the claim yet,on Monday the 6th I wrote a complaint to the complaints department mentioning all the events that occurred not forgetting to mention that I had a fear of the bank deducting from my account on the 15th, my worst nightmare took place and now ABSA Vehicle finance claims that the insurance only paid the settlement amount late and since the insurance didn't pay in full as they deducted excess from the cover amount so the settlement was void meaning I am still owing about R70 000 and something,insurance never communicated when they were depositing the amount so that I could top it up same time they only told me that they would let me know when it's done before I knew it, the bank deducted and the whole scenario changed,it's devastating because I believe the insurance knows well about the validity of the settlement which I didn't know about and I don't know if they did it on purpose or if the bank is trying to reap me off, it's frustrating and depressing because financially I am not in a good state as we can see the state of the county, the interest rates keep going up yet salaries are still the same so right now I am in that dilemna as the insurance hasn't gotten back to me with a resolution so I am stuck between a rock and a hard place not able to sleep at night since the accident, accident traumatised me on its own and now my experience is more of a trauma to me
