Despicable cancellation service

I recently called to cancel as I received a quote from a competing insurer. I made an informed decision to cancel. Called King Price and the consultant was so rude. I told him why I wanted to cancel and not once did he offer to review my policy or try to keep me as a client. Instead he tried to go on to tell me about each insurer and why they're bad after I kindly asked him to not do this as I had given them all the same info that King Price has as well as read the policy document so I was aware. This guy continued to talk over me and just go on as if what I said was not even heard. It went to the point where I was screaming on the phone. This was my first bad experience with King Price and I felt utterly belittled. I understand you need to keep customers but how can you when you're not giving customers legitimate reasons to stay.
