Decline of my claim and being chased away after being involved in the car accident

I was chased from the insurance after I was involved in an accident on 3 Sept 2016 and my claim was declined firstly. They said it was bcos of material misrepresentation. I didn't understand their question initially when they said did I have any uninterrupted policy in the past seven years I said no thinking they meant did I have any claim in the past seven years knowing that I didn't have a car in the past seven years except from 2001 to 2003. that's how they penalised me I was also surprised even today I am still surprised I think that's what they are doing to the other client. they paid me back part of my premiums r8000 after they chased me away but never paid the damage of my car for repair (R34 000) even up to today. the ombudsman failed to win the case and the case was closed. I tried to contact you for help in the past but could get hold of you. pls assist me to get my claim for the repair of my car. my car is almost a year now without been repairs bcos of no money for the repair.
