Debit Order *******ly taken off account and not reversed

I requested a quotation from King Price on the 11th October and was happy with the quote. I gave the go ahead to go with them and to start my cover from the 1st November. I was contacted by my current insurer to give me a better quote and decided to keep my business with them, as I had been a client of theirs for over 15 years.

On the 17th October I mailed King Price to cancel my policy that was to start on the 1st November.

Two debit orders went off my account on the 1st Nov, one for the premium and another for a joining fee.

I sent a mail to King Price on the 2nd November to query this and have been in contact with a Jacky Bramley, she contacted me on the 3rd November who said that the debit order will be reversed as I cancelled my policy to start on the 1st November, and never joined. And that I should send her the e-mails I sent to cancel the policy as well as the queries regarding the debit orders.

I have sent to date numerous mails requesting for any feedback as I have not even received my return debit orders yet. Even though I was told they would be reversed.

I am going to have to give all this communication to my bank to reverse.

I think it is absolutely disgusting that King Price insurance can ***** money from people and not even feedback or return the monies they stole!

Someone should do something about this company! Maybe they should be reported to the Ombudsman!
