Dear King Price: That was dissapointing...

I was looking to change my home contents insurance provider to Kind Price in order to lower it and I've heard some positive reviews on King Price. I logged a call back to do a quote. I pick up the phone and the consultant coughes in the phone without apologizing firstly. Secondly at parts of the call he just stays quiet. Lastly he requested my ID number and I asked why you need my ID at quote stage which he responded to with "to do an accurate quote". I kept on repeating that it still doesn't explain why you need my ID number and this is where I started losing confidence. I then told him I have to hang up since it didn't seem like he knew what he was doing and he certainly did not exude any confidence in the process.

NB: People, please don't just give out your ID to anyone over the phone. It's extremely dangerous.
