Cracy Premium increase
Received e-mail from KP today on my annual premium increase. They are crazy!!!. Premium is going up from R1044 to R 1414. An 35% INCREASE!<br> The premium on my wife's car has DOUBLED almost from R367 to R637. The car is worth less than mine. Wife was not in any accident. yet premium is higher than for my car. It also has a Car Track unit...*** KP!!<br> <br> What happened to a decent inflation related increase or even 10%?<br> Even if I did have a small claim for small scratches on my car. a 35% increase is *********.<br> I am taking my business somewhere else if you can not provide a decent premium!<br> Do you care enough to provide a better premium and retain a client or must I accept a much better offer from another insurer???<br>
Here's the thing, like all insurers, we too need to implement policy rerates to keep up the rising costs or parts and repairs... Which even we can't ignore!
These costs aren't linked to the value of your car, which as you know, depreciates monthly. And unlike other insurers, King Price takes this into account and DECREASES your comprehensive car insurance premium every month.
