Cover increase while car value drops

They say their insurance drop monthly.... But I feel unfairly treated, I signed with them on March, took comprehensive cover for my car, but then went for maternity leave During April they adviced I m paying a lot and driving less so it's better I m on pay per KM and I ll switch when I go back to work. On August I called them to ask to be switched back but my comprehensive cover insurance but I find is up by R200 ,last agent R300 And they have no valid reason ,they say it's the system

I expected to be paying same or less because car value doesn't go up. I am disappointed

Here's the thing, like all insurers, we too need to implement policy rerates to keep up the rising costs of parts, labour rates, repairs, inflation etc... Which even we can't ignore!   These costs aren't linked to the value of your car, which as you know, depreciates monthly.  And unlike other insurers, King Price takes this into account and DECREASES your comprehensive car insurance premium every month.

Our retentions department has been in contact to discuss.
