Comprehensively Insured
I have been a client of King Price for almost 3 years now. I should also mention I am 56 years old, have had my license since the age of 18 and always had comprehensive insurance. Recently I bought a car. I am the registered owner and the regular driver. However in the time between selling my previous car and buying this one I have been driving my wife's car, registered in her name and she is the named regular driver. Because the time gap is more than 30 days since I was named as the regular driver for a car, according to King Price all my years of driving and having comprehensive insurance don't count and they have subsequently loaded my premium because of that. Sounds like a money making **** to me! Someone at King Price please contact me and explain to me how this is possible please. I would also like to see where it is written in my terms and conditions, failing which I think I will take this matter to the insurance ombudsman.
