Complaint Regarding Refusal to Cancel Policy

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the unacceptable service I received when attempting to cancel my insurance policy with King Price.

On Monday, 25 May, I contacted their customer service team to cancel my policy, as I have consolidated all my insurance policies under one umbrella with another insurer. Despite clearly explaining my decision, the representative I dealt with refused to accept my answers and made the process unnecessarily difficult.

I spent more than half an hour online attempting to resolve this matter, until I eventually ran out of airtime. The representative did not have the courtesy to call me back, leaving the issue unresolved. This lack of professionalism and disregard for my time and money is deeply disappointing.

As a paying customer, I have the right to cancel my policy at any time. It is my money, and I should not be subjected to resistance or obstruction when exercising this right.

I request the following: - Immediate cancellation of my policy with King Price. - Written confirmation of the cancellation. - An explanation as to why my initial request was not respected. - Assurance that such treatment will not be repeated with other customers.

If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate my complaint to the relevant regulatory authorities.

I trust that King Price will take this complaint seriously and act swiftly to rectify the situation.
