Cold calling
I had a call from one of your call centre agents today. The purpose of her call was to find out if I am interested in getting an insurance quote.
My first question I asked was where did you get my number from. In terms of the POPI act I have a right to know where you source my details from and I am of the opinion that you have done so *******ly.
Her response to me was that you have different sources and she is just a call centre agent. I asked her to please put me through to a supervisor. She just dropped the phone.
This is unacceptable behaviour and especially in the light of you contacting me.This is rude. If I ever considered approaching King Price before, the chances are zero now.
I would still like to know where it is that King Price sourced my details from as this is protected by the POPI act and you are in contravention.
