Claims process review (forget about getting back your excess)

I had a claim in June ‘24. I was not at fault, I mentioned this to the call center person which he agreed as well as in my description during claim stage. I took down the details of the third party and King price advised that I should not make any contact with the third party as they would do that in order to recoup the money from them. All I had to do was pay the excess which I did. And my car was fixed. Thanks.

It’s 2025. I called in to find out about the progress they’re making to recoup the money (my excess to be specific) from the third party, and they said they aren’t doing anything about it.

I’m disappointed because i could’ve tried by myself to claim my excess from the third party but I was made to believe that they will fight that battle for me yet nothing is being done about it. I was not even at fault.
