Claim Rejected- NO active policy
I used to have a policy with KP and cancelled it in 2014. On the 18 Aug 2015 I accepted a new quotation for a NEW policy.

This quotation is accepted after I rejected two offers from KP on basis of premiums and excess fee, respectively. A consultant calls for the 3rd time and convinces me to take the initial quote (higher premiums but moderate excess). We agree upon the pro-rata to be debited on my bank account because of the time of the month.

On the 27 October I had a car accident. To my surprise I don't have a cover The Roadside Assistance (RA) agrees to tow my car to the towing company premises until Monday, 29 October 2015. RA keeps calling for the claim number and for me to give a development re-the claim.

My calls are answered by different claims administrators and keep on telling me i don't have an insurance, referring to the old policy number. I ask for the phone records- they only find the one I rejected the quote. How great!

My car was towed from the towing company to the panelbeaters I don't know. I'm informed i have 7 days to collect my damaged car. This arrangement wasn't discussed with me. No details of the panelbeater are provided.Im so angry and disappointed
We have reviewed all the calls between yourself and King Price and at no stage did you accept any policy, you where quoted but did not accept the policy as you stated that you will be staying with your previous insurer due to the premium and excess being lower than what we could offer.
Regrettably we are unable to assist with your claim as you are not a King Price policy holder.
Royal regards
