Claim rejected - KPLD003120

I submitted a claim on Saturday as my left tyre had was damaged following an incident I had driving on gravel road which resulted in my tyre getting a bulge after I had hit a pothole. Today I received an email that my claim was rejected as the damaged tyre was worn out, and the tread measurements were not within the legal limit.

I understand the limit restrictions, however, when I encountered the incident, the tyre was still in condition and unfortunately the wheel got damaged as I was driving the vehicle daily to work daily hence the wearing out of the tread.

Now I would like to know why was my claim rejected if the tyre clearly has a visible bulge from the pothole incident??????
