Claim process is very frustrating

On the 2nd of February, I was involved in a car accident on N3 and hit at the back during peak hour traffic. I called to King Price to get my car towed and asked what information I needed to get. Ekurhuleni Metro Police came to the scene and completed an accident report and gave me a ref no before I went to the hospital. I called and put a claim on Monday the 5th. A week later and my claim is still not authorised because they can't get hold of the other driver to validate my claim. I called him and was able to able to get hold of him but King Price claim they can't. There is no way that they haven't been able to get hold of him for a week. I was asked them to call him today after I spoke to him because he is a driver who is on the road all day. When I asked for feedback later, I was told they were busy with calls and didn't have time to call him. This process is extremely frustrating and I am not a happy customer. A friend of mine got her claim approved in three days from a rival company. I have to consider switching insurance as my new car is getting dust while my insurance company is too busy.

It is not enough to just say someone has been in contact with you. Here is my feedback, on the 24th of February I picked up my car and noticed a few issues. 1, the driver's car seat had been lifted and almost came off. 2, the boot was very heavy and making an irritating noise when it opens. 3,the inside roof was very dirty with oil like stains. Now take into account that my car was barely new which I got on the 28th of October 2017. My issues were dismissed by the repairs centre who said I should raise issues with my insurance company. The only outstanding issue they mentioned was an inside cover of the boot which they said they have ordered. On the 26th of February, I took photos and sent an email and raised all my issues. I got a reply instantly from a Mfundo who was allocated to my repairs at King Price. He called me with the assessor after a week who was going to come assess my issues, I gave him my number and address. Two weeks went by and I went back to Mfundo and told him no one contacted me, he managed to get hold of the assessor and he made an appointment for the 22nd of March. He assessed the car and said one of the shocks in the boot wasn't working and he would approve a replacement, 2ndly, he just pushed the seat cover back to how it was and then suggested I take the car to Mazda to fix and not mention that this was a result of an accident. 3rdly he was going to talk to the repairs centre about the outstanding boot cover and dirty roof. From the 9th of April, I send the assessor a message asking for feedback and I received no reply. On the 13th of April, I sent a complaint to customer care and no one rep**** or called. One of the issues now is that the driver's seat makes noise when driving indicating that there was more damage than just a seat cover and I also wanted my case escalated given that nothing has changed after almost 2months since my first complaint about repairs. I have been with King Price from July 2015, I have never missed a payment or been late with one. This was the first time I had an accident and this experience is worse than the trauma of being in an accident. No one cares about my issues, I am the one following up all the time, you have service providers (Sandton Auto Repair Centre) dismissing clear visible issues, your assessor pushing some responsibility to Mazda surely in the name of saving a few bucks. Nothing has been Royal about my experience
