Claim process and communication with customers even internal

I’ve been a customer of King Price for the past 10 years, but my recent experiences with their claims service have left me extremely disappointed.

In my last two claims, the level of service was far from satisfactory. For my bakkie, it took them a month just to get it to a panel beater. I was hesitant to send it to Ross Champion due to their poor reviews, so I opted for Autobahn, which is supposedly BMW-approved. However, when I picked up my vehicle, it wasn’t cleaned and had new damage. When I inquired, the consultant claimed it was pre-existing. After discussions with Phillip and the manager at Autobahn, they finally addressed the additional repairs, but the quality of the work was subpar—there were noticeable sanding marks and poor paint finish. It made me question how they maintain their approval status.

My next incident involved my son, who had an accident with a vehicle on my policy. Since he wasn’t listed as the regular driver, King Price repudiated the claim and advised me to withdraw it. A consultant from King Price arranged for the vehicle to be taken to a panel beater in Edenvale i dont know why, but I’ve been waiting almost a week for them to return the vehicle to Gobit, which is just 4 km away from my home. Thankfully, Samantha from King Price arranged for the towing company to bring it to my house.

To my shock, the vehicle was partially stripped upon arrival. I’m left wondering if the parts they put in my vehicle are even mine and whether all the necessary bolts and clips are intact. Additionally, I noticed something was pulled from the wiring harness. I’ve emailed King Price’s complaints department but have yet to receive any feedback.

Overall, my experience with King Price has been frustrating, and I’m questioning their commitment to customer service and quality. I hope they can address these issues, as I’ve had a long relationship with them that I would like to continue.
