Cheated by insurance
Thank you for taking my call this morning
As discussed, my vehicle VW Polo – white, vehicle registration DH 19 LY GP was ****** from Florida on the 15th of February 2018. The case was opened at Florida Police station. Case : 299/02/2018
The vehicle is currently financed with MFC and was insured through King Price up and until the 9th of March.
I purchased this vehicle from a dealer ship in Alberton at the time which is Jambo motors.
Since the purchase, the dealer ship has moved to offices near the Glen , address 62 A Amanda Road Glenoaks. Oppoiste Lexus
The vehicle was recovered by Matrix tracker on the afternoon of the 15th of February 2018
On the 16th of February 2018 my wife and I went to the impound to identify the vehicle but to our surprise we were told that the vehicle is not mine.
According to the officer at the Lenasia impound the vehicle was ****** in Sep 2014.
It was reported ****** at the Florida Police Station. Case: 65/09/2014 – the previous registration was BF 65 ML GP
Our insurance King Price has declined our claim, please find attached letter from insurance. They have stopped the insurance with effect the 9th of March 2018.
I feel that I have been cheated by the dealership and the insurance.King Price helped in no way and done absolutely nothing as an Insurer after collecting my premiums for 3 years my car had been for inspection before the vehicle was covered and now have refused to payout my claim regardless of the circumstances I chose king price as my insurance it should have been there responsibility to conduct proper checks as short term insurance is a risk and covered themselves and if they had done these checks they upfront they should not have insured the vehicle but waiting for 3 years and now feel they have reason not to payout the claim this us unacceptable I've logged with the ombudsmen and have sent my information to 3rd degree for a tv interview to make it known King Price insurance is not a trust worthy insurance and out too ***** consumers money I am now left with an outstanding amount with the bank I have no vehicle and my insurance dis bit help me at all
I need assistance as I cannot pay for a vehicle that I do not have in my possession.

We further note that the insurance premiums you paid to us have been refunded to you as we would have never accepted risk had we known the vehicle was in fact a ****** vehicle.
