In March towards month end I was involved in an accident with my mother's car,we notified the insurance (king price) the assessor/investigator came to take the pictures,A.R and we even went to the scene,on 1st of April the car was towed in to a local pannel beater in lydenburg and it's been there ever since the repairs was R25000.00 and we were running up and down and making phone calls,I'm mid may the insurance notified us that they are not in working terms with the pannel beater and they wanted to send the money into my mother's account so she can pay the pannel beater...we went back to the pannel beater and explained everything and they told us that the car was owing storage which was over R100000.00 I was shocked and we went back to the insurance and told them the current situation in the beginning of June the insurance said they are requesting to write off the car only if we have a short fall insurance (which we do) and the settlement was R101000.00 and as we remember the car was insured with its retail value which was R97000.00 but only R85000.00 was paid to the bank. So today not only did we loose a car,we continued paying the monthly installments since April and all the months we paid for the car since 2014 and we not even compensated and the bank says we might be still owe Ing the car if the short fall doesn't cover the outstanding balance...King Price insurance has the worst customer service and they are infact ****** they have made my mother loose her car just because of their negligence this was my mother's first accident claim antonette the car was fixable and now she lost everything

Hi John
We have been in contact with the policy holder. The values have been discussed with the policy holder as well as we have advised the policy holder to claim from her shortfall cover for the difference owed to the financier.
