Cancellation of policy at King Price

I contacted King Price on 14 June 2021 to enquire about car insurance. They offered me a better premium and I decided to join them and cancel my insurance at Miway. However, Miway came back with a counteroffer (better premium as well as the excess amount was reduced) so I immediately (on the same day, not even two hours later) tried to phone King Price to stop/cancel my request to join from 1 July. I tried the "chat" option on their app. I hold on for about 10 minutes to get to their cancellation office - every time getting the message that they will phone me back. Seems they are quick to sell but you have a real difficult time to cancel. And I am not even a client yet. This will definitely make me think twice to ever consider KP again.
