BE CAREFULL WHEN TAKING ADDITIONAL COVER WITH KING PRICE AS THEY WITHHELD IMPORTANT INFORMATION WHICH YOU WILL ONLY FIND OUT AT CLAIM STAGE

I was offered tyre and rim cover by one of King Price consultants. At no point was I ever informed that King Price will not cover for the wheel alignment, etc. I was also informed that I can make use of any repairer as long as it falls within the insured value. I proceeded with Tyger Wheel and Tyre as they were the only company that could provide me with the same brand of tyre. Unfortunately, they could not assist with the rim and I had to find another company that can repair the rim. Just to find out this morning that I will be paying 2 excess structures as I went to separate repairers. King Price did not provide me with the correct advice regarding this product prior to me taking this cover, which would have allowed me to make an informed decision whether I wish to take this cover through them.

Please refer to page 46 of the policy KPPD for the t's and c's of the tyre and rim cover. Should you wish to dispute the outcome of your claim you are welcome to do so by emailing a detailed dispute to ***

Point 1 – It does not indicate under the KPPD page 46 that the actual fitting of the new tyre, wheel alignment, etc. would be excluded when the damaged tyre or rim needs to be replaced.
Point 2 - I have a voice recording where a KP consultant indicated that I may proceed with any repairer as long as it does not exceed the limit of cover.
Point 3 - Furthermore, nowhere in the KPPD nor on my policy schedule does it indicate that I would be liable to pay 2 excess structures for one incident.
I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU GO AND FAMI****ISE YOURSELF WITH YOUR KPPD, BEFORE TRYING TO ESCAPE PAYING THIS CLAIM IN FULL.
THERE IS A CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN MYSELF AND KING PRICE WHERE I PAY A PREMIUM FOR COVER IN THE EVENT OF A CLAIM.
KING PRICE IS IN BREACH OF THIS CONTRACT!!!
PLEASE REFUND ME FOR ALL THE PREMIUMS PAID ON BOTH MY VEHICLES FOR THE TYRE AND RIM AS WELL AS SCRATCH AND DENT COVER, AS KING PRICE IS IN BREACH OF THIS CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT.
