BAD SERVICE

I took out a King Price Policy on Home Content and Protable Possessions and I only specified the items that leave my home, upon the consultant's advice he told me that as long as the items do not leave my home they are covered under home content as long as the incident happens at the insured address.

I had a Mackbook air which I accidentally damaged (broke the screen) I called in to log a claim for it TOLD them it was accidental damage and that it was not specified.

Paragon came and collected the item and did a report (took almost 7 days). Upon querying the status of the claim I was informed by the consultant that the claim would not be honored since the laptop was not specified and that accidental damage is not covered on home content.

1) Why would I be advised by the initial consultant that I would be covered 2) Why knowing that the Item was not specified and THAT it was accidental damage the consultant logging the claim proceeded to log and execute the claim, - why was I not informed at that point that it would not be covered??? (I never tried to hide the fact that it wasn't specified or that it was damaged accidentally) 3) I was told if it was ****** it would have been covered by home content - and I feel what it most common thing that can happen accidental or theft - if I had known that accidental damage wasn't covered by this I would have specified it . 4) Now it will take 3 days to get call recordings and all the while I am left without a laptop I need?

If you could please look into this as I feel this was handled VERY poorly from the get-go
