Appalling service at King Price

I put in a claim for a car accident and the consultant is asking me to produce a Bank statement. Never in the years that I had a car and Insurance was I ever asked for a bank statement? This is invasion of privacy on another level, what does a bank statement have to do with a car accident claim? When i questioned the consultant, he gave me attitude and was very rude, told me I cannot tell him how to do his job. What kind of nonsense is this????
