Always insist for a post repairs report

Wow King price, removed my review based on not a verified customer. Let me get this right for you, policy number KP***. R HEUVEL. As I said always Always request a post repair inspection to be done, in the event that you as the customer is not satisfied, you have the right to ask the insurer to correct it immediately. In the event that the insurer fails to do so, they are liable for anything that happens after that. This is my case with king price, as a customer I informed them immediately that my car does not sound right, I asked them to send an assessor to review the repairs and to give a report if they are satisfied with the workmanship. They failed to do so, consequently few days later the car does not start. Parties at fault is the insurer as they have failed to inspect the car after repairs, what guarantee do they have that the car was repaired correctly. In this case none, the fact that faults were reported immediately after the first uplifting of the car, indicates that the insurer did not do their due diligence to obtain customer satisfaction. Failure for you as the client to take the car for inspection when taking out insurance, could mean that your claim could be rejected. Same principle applies, failure of the insurer to inspect the work done, means they are liable. During an accident a full inspection should be done to determine the extent of the damage. This was not the case. Simply saying to a client that king price and the repairer is not liable, a two liner is simply poor customer relations. I pay my premium and expect a service. Was the service provided by king price satisfactory, no, you cannot dismiss a customer by ignoring his plea for an assessor to inspect the car and now when it is no longer in working order expect the customer to accept liability. I would urge all to always ask for a post repairs report, not from the repairer as according to them they always do a great job, but rather the insurer. I would rather recommend an insurance company that knows the risk and liability associated with the business. Try Sanlam, been in the business for years.

Yes I have escalated to the assessors team leader, twice already with no response. Bennie Botha, I have asked for a detailed email with regards to why I am liable for this, as this will be one of the requirements from the ombudsman. Threatening me to remove my vehicle and cancelling my entitled courtesy vehicle without resolving the matter is unacceptable.

It has been 10 days since complaint was lodged.

Please note, the vehicle was collected from the repairer as you are well aware the repairer threatened to start charging me with storage fees per day.

The vehicle ignition does not even light up, it is completely covered in dust and cannot even lock the car. I am mentioning this as how the vehicle was returned to me the customer. I await your assessor still to view the so called repairs completed.

I have not received a courtesy vehicle as I am being penalized for *********** repairer which failed to return the vehicle to its original state. This inconvenience has cost me greatly in uber fees and continues daily, due to poor customer service.

Can I have this matter resolved please.
