Poor Quality

This morning I went to King Pie Maynard mall Wynberg and purchased a Foot Long Russian Roll at R49

There was 2 on the shelf at the time of which I asked the cashier if they had just come out because they looked rather dry She confidently said yes I paid the amount by card and was not given a receipt.

I left the branch and headed to work Whilst commuting I took a bite of the footlong which ruined my entire morning

The pastry was dry and stale and the Russian tasted sour , clearly not freshly made this morning

I could see by the looks of them that they weren’t their best compared to how golden brown and fresh out of the oven the other pastries looked

I often purchase this pastry as it is my absolute favourite but this morning’s experience left a bitter taste in my mouth both literally and figuratively.

This item costs nearly R50 which is a hefty sum of money for an item that is dry and stale filled with a sour Russian I’ve raised a complaint with the company and had no response whatsoever Very bad customer service
