NEVER KING PIE AGAIN
King pie at Puma in Mayville is the worst king pie that I have ever bought from. We bought 3x salami and cheese, 2x pepper steak, 2x steak and kidney and 1x russian roll. Now, this is what we discovered when we got home. They wrote the pie names on the packaging, which is awesome, except that what was written on the packaging, was not what was actually inside. For the salami and cheese we got: 2x steak and kidney and 1x mutton curry. And the russian roll has something inside which I would not call a russian. Now, I ordered the salami and cheese, but got the mutton curry. Problem!! I'm allergic to all kinds of curry... Luckily I always carry with me my meds for allergies. So, I was rushed to hospital just to be checked out. Lucky for them I'm ok.
This is the worst king pie and I will never support them again.
This was also not the first time that they have messed up our order.

10 Oct 2022, 16:21So, I received a couple of phone calls regarding this matter. Everyone is so apologetic and concerned. I thought that this was very good customer service.
They even sent me a voucher for the 5 pies that they messed up. WOW! This is fantastic service...
And then they messed up again!!!
Now comes the part that REALLY made me mad!!!
Saturday I sent someone with the voucher to that same King Pie (it's closest to me)
One of the ladies (Dineo) told this person that we cannot redeem the voucher at they're store and that we have to go to a main branch, which is surprising seeing that the voucher clearly states that it can be redeemed at ANY King Pie.
We asked them where is the nearest main branch, Dineo said that the nearest branch is at the Wonderboom junction. So this guy went to the junction and guess what he found... There is no King Pie at Wonderboom junction
So, is this how they deal with customers?? Give you the run-around? Wasting our petrol? (Lucky for us the petrol had a price drop this month) :(
