False advertising
I was at the Zevenwacht outlet on 12 Sept 2018 and ordered a meal that was advertised on the wall for R40,80. After the cashier fried my chips and I was ready to pay she informed me I needed to pay an extra R1 and whipped out an A4 signage about sugar tax. I informed her tgat you cannot advertise 1 thing and then charge different prices. I immediately contacted the call centre and mailed the pics to them. I honestly thought this would be dealt with professionally. Today 17 Sept 2018 I called back to do a follow up and after complaining again to the call centre, i received a call from a very disrepectful consultant named Brent. And no I am crying over R1 but the principle behind it. And then your call centre staff still give me grief. Never again will I purchase anything from King Pie
