Kind2Hearing supp**** me with a hearing aid. It was a requirement that the total amount of R15000.00 had to be paid before the hearing aid could be delivered and fitted. When I received the hearing aid, I had to sign a contract where it was specified what, where and how the aids should be handled, maintained and stored, with specific that if not adhered to, all guarantees and so called free services would be cancelled. With this contract it was also specified that the aids would be fine tuned 2 weeks after receipt by Kind2Hearing. Furthermore there was a 30 day return policy starting on 23 July 2019. Coming 2 weeks after receipt I was informed that the fine tuning is postponed to 20 Aug 2019, which would have left me with 3 days for cancellation in the event where the aids is not working for me. On request that the 30 days return should be altered seeing that Kind2Hearing did not adhere to there side of the contract and that 3 days testing after fine tuning, is not sufficient enough, Kind2Hearing offered me the option to cancel the total transaction which I did. On the same day an e-mail was received from Kind2Hearing, Randfontein, where my banking info was requested for the return of the money paid. I forwarded the requested info 0n 08 Aug 2019 and since then no communication was received fro Kind2Hearing regarding the payback or possible deviation on the aids. I have send an e-mail to Kind2Hearing in Randfontein requesting info when the money is going to be paid back, on which I received no reaction. On 19 Sept 2019 I wrote an e-mail to Kind2Hearing head office in Pretoria, explaining the total disappointing exercise with their Randfontein branch. The CEO answered my e-mail and again shifted the problem to someone else, apparently the area manager. No reaction or indication was given regarding the payback of money owed. Taking in account the amount payed, where R10000 was reversed to the medical aid, thanks for that, it is scary to know that even the CEO is not in a position to authorise the payback of money owed.
