***** 2nd Hand Car sales

I don't recommend dealing with Kia Weltevreden Park (Clearwater). I am having a horrible experience with them. I was sold a 2nd hand car under false pretenses. They made promises which were not kept. I raised this 2 days after buying the car and complained as I am legally allowed to return the vehicle and they are refusing. Now I have to go through the Ombudsman to fight them to resolve this. They are a typical shady car dealership. More interested in sales than customer service. And don't even bother speaking to their dealer principle, he has a terrible attitude and wasn't even willing to listen. He did not even bother to phone me after I raised my complaint even though the sales person asked him to. They did offer to come collect the new car to try sort out the issues, but I cannot afford to drive the car until this is resolved. I have no faith in them or their abilities to keep their promises.

Just an update. Its over a month later and I am still struggling. The sales person did collect the car to try fix it. They did not. I still have the same problems and new ones. I have sent photos and videos to them but they are no longer willing to help me and told me to sort it out myself. Luckily I have a case open at the Ombudsman and am waiting for a resolution.

Another update: Its now the end of November and this is still an issue and the dealership are still not doing anything to assist.

Update March 2023 - I sent the car to Haval due to all the issues and they sent it to a panel beater. It turns out the car was in an accident and repaired. The Kia dealership never mentioned this. The Dekra report did not mention it either. The Kiad dealership also promised to do a 104 point check before I bought the car. So either they did not notice which means they do poor work, or they noticed and decided to hide it from me, either way, its not good service
