Kia Nightmare

I bought a Nissan np200 from kia northcliff in 2018, now I am trying to trade in the vehicle and I'm being told by different dealers that the car was in an accident and paint job done is sub standard. The salesperson did not disclose this to me at the time of sale. Can I get some recourse through the ombudsman?
