Kea Motors The Glen
On the 19th January 2023 my mom took her Kea Sportage for a service, she got her car back and was advised everything is ok. On the 1st of February (8 days later) while she was driving to work the car started overheating. She managed to make it to work and upon arrival her male colleague opened the bonet to check they discovered that the water tank was not properly closed and therefore there was no water.
She immediately called Kea and advised them of her discovery and that now the car was overheating. They then asked her to come to them so they can assess it, she once again made her way to Kea and on the way had to keep stopping as the car still kept overheating. Upon arrival the car was assessed and she was advised that the overheating has affected the engine and has to leave the car so the engineers can assess. Mind you no alternative transport was provided and I had to Uber for her. The following day she went to speak to the service manager and was told to check if her insurer would assist and she did that and the insurer advised the fault is with the dealer and they should fix the car. To date Kea hasn’t provided her with alternative transport and refusing to take accountability for their error.
Kea needs to understand that the service they are giving my mother is the worst ever and we would never ever recommend them to anyone.
