KGA LIFE IS A ******* UNDERWRITING COMPANY DESPERATE FOR OUR MONIES

2013, we as partners of 4 members openned up a funeral palour business. We agreed to do a legit and honourable business and for our clients get them underwritten so to be safe for all and get reputable company to cover our paying members.

We joined KGA Life with good intentions and thought they also had good business intentions we took them as our underwriters. All of us as 4 directors we entered into the agreement and a simple process was agreed upon as normal insurance is carried out. Miss a payment or 1 month cancel notification is given the policy is cancelled. There was no Surety of anysort agreed upon.

I was nominatted as a REPRESENTATIVE of the business not as SURETY of the business for communication purporses.

In August 2014 I resigned from the business due to other commitments, we all agreed and signed as directors with my resignation, did my changes with CIPC. I PERSONALLY informed KGA telephonically and in writting that I was no more a member of this business if there are any issues they can contact the 3 left behind active members which they had contact for and were still in communication with.

To my unholy suprise on the 9th January 2017 at my house a sherrif of the court pitches up claiming to be there to attach my property because I owe KGA R41 000. The business is the first defendent Im the second defendent for WHAT?????

This *****ed company has the 3 active memembers details, my sin was because I was nominated as a REP of the company Im getting involved in they pathatic, poor and ********* tectic to try and recover what monies. What have I got to do with outstanding monies for company I left long ago??

Funny if this was ethical underwritting company they would have cancelled the contract with the business if they did not get they premiums. But because they so desperate for business they let it linger to try and make more cents.

KGA is really pathetic company and I realy feel sorry for business that are under writen by them

Dear Sir,

Due to the fact that your name and the name of your scheme is not mentioned, we are unable to provide a response regarding your specific situation. We can however provide the following legal clarification.

In terms of the underwriting agreement entered into with all schemes, signatories bind themselves, in their personal capacity, as surety and co-principal debtors for the debt of the scheme (company) which they represent.

The mere fact that a person resigns as a director of a company with the CIPC does not, in law, discharge them from obligations entered into in their personal capacity on behalf of the company towards a creditor, in this case KGA Life.

You are welcome to contact our legal department directly on ***, they will be happy to provide you with more details and assist in resolving your situation.
