Sour soup
Very disappointing experience at KFC Oakdale I bought a Streetwise Pap with soup from KFC Oakdale, but unfortunately, the soup tasted sour and left my tongue feeling numb. I was very concerned because the soup clearly did not taste fresh, and I was worried that consuming it could make me sick or cause food poisoning. I went back to KFC Oakdale to report the issue, and even the manager was able to confirm that the soup was not fresh. This is extremely concerning, as customers trust KFC to serve food that is fresh and safe to eat. I hope management takes this matter seriously and ensures that proper food-quality and freshness checks are carried out. Customers should not have to worry about becoming ill from food purchased at a reputable restaurant.

Complaint: Poor Customer Service – KFC Oakdale
Hi KFC Oakdale, I am very disappointed with the service I received during my recent visit to this branch. I placed my order using the kiosk, but one machine displayed only item names and prices without pictures. This led me to mistakenly order Dunked Strips instead of Dunked Wings. When I realized the error, I went to the counter for assistance and waited over 15 minutes without being helped, as staff seemed unwilling to assist customers at the counter. When I eventually spoke to two ladies and politely requested an exchange — even offering to pay the difference — one of them refused and laughed, which I found unprofessional and disrespectful. I then contacted the 021 number on the KFC website and was advised to return to the counter for assistance. After further delay, another staff member intervened and the order was changed with an additional R5. I would like to thank Thando for stepping in and resolving the matter. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I’ve experienced poor service at this branch. One staff member, Asiphe, consistently displays a negative attitude towards customers. I acknowledge that the initial mistake was mine; however, customer service should focus on providing solutions, not dismissing or mocking customers. Due to the lack of assistance, my entire lunch hour was wasted, and I only received my food after nearly an hour. I hope management addresses these ongoing service issues.

I'm not happy with the service I'm been receiving at KFC Oakdale Tygervally
I'm not happy with the service I'm been receiving at KFC Oakdale Tygervally. The first time my order it had no seviets and sauces, I complaint to the cashier about it, she gave me an I don't care attitude, one of the ladies had to intervene and she apologized about it. Today again was at KFC Oakdale, my order had no seviets and sauces, I went to ask for spice, the ladies told me they are going to check at the back and bring some to me, I'm telling you I saw her going up, bringing boxing out and the spice that had to come with my meal, they did not bring it as promised, I went out because I was late for lunch. The time I complaint about the spices, they were busy talking amongst each other something I did not understanding what were they mumbling about.
